Be sure not to miss out on the dictionary and thesaurus study session, various music and art demonstrations, performances, and many other things, which will be happening during the exhibition.

Through photojournalistic expression, Colors of Cuba, documents daily life in Cuba. While the images are of a distinct culture, they also evoke a sense of intimacy that draws parallels across cultures. The exhibit also conveys the social and political realities under which Cubans live, bringing us closer to understanding the extent to which our personal ideals have a public impact.

Avant et Apres
Paris 2003 Show
Curated by Natalie Haney
October 25 - November 14, 2003
Reception: Friday, November 7, 2003 from 7 - 9 pm
The purpose of the group exhibition Avant et Après is to translate into a visual language the many unique experiences we all had while studying in Paris, France. It is important to first reflect on the delicate time in the world in which we found ourselves as travelers. This issue was extremely relevant to many of the students, due to the anti-Franco media bombardment we were all subjected to prior to departure. It was difficult for many of us as Americans to truly know what information to trust; therefore, we had formed preconceived notions about the possible anti-American climate abroad. Within the first few days in Paris, perhaps even hours, most if not all of these notions were quietly put to rest.
