GET INVOLVED
Bridging the Gap in Health Care
Advocates at USF collects surplus medical supplies from around the greater Tampa Bay area, that would have otherwise gone to waste in  landfills or have been incinerated, and ships these supplies to under-served populations in developing nations such as Guatemala, Panama, and Haiti. By redistributing these supplies, we are able to reduce the cost of health care these populations receive as well as improve the quality. We are looking for motivated students who are passionate about making a difference in the world to join our efforts. We currently have positions within our board for directors and committee members in the fields of Socials, Marketing, Recruitment, and Fundraising. We also sponsor three medical aid trips to Guatemala per year in order to give students the opportunity to see where our medical supplies go and how their contribution is making a difference in the lives of so many. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Amanda Brennan at Bla1@mail.usf.edu.
